Add the people you know at a company
Private to you, and they surface automatically the next time that company posts something you match.
In the German market a referral is worth more than a good cover letter. An internal recommendation moves an application from a stack of two hundred to a conversation. Most people know this and still do not use it, because at the moment a relevant role appears, they do not remember who they know there.
Expado lets you attach contacts to a company. On the companies page, add the person's name and LinkedIn against the employer they work for.
The contact you added months ago, surfacing at the only moment it is useful.
What happens next
Nothing, until it matters. The next time that company posts something that matches you, your contact appears next to the role. You do not have to search your memory or your network at the one moment you are short of time.
These are yours alone
Contacts are private to your account. They are not shared with the company, not shown to other users, and not used for anything except reminding you. They are deleted with your account.
Worth doing in advance
The value comes from having added them before the role appears. Fifteen minutes going through the companies you would actually like to work for, adding the two or three people you know at each, is the highest-leverage quarter of an hour on the site.
Former colleagues count. So do people you met once at a conference. The ask is small: a note saying you have applied and would appreciate a look.
Expado reads your CV once and ranks every open role in Germany by how well it actually fits.
