Once the scan finishes, every profile is scored against everything new. If a role clears 85 percent against your CV, it goes into one email. At most eight roles, once a day, in the morning.
The threshold is the point
It would be easy to email you thirty roles a day and call it coverage. That is how job alerts stop being read. Eighty-five percent is a deliberately high bar: it means the email is worth opening because it is usually short and occasionally empty.
If nothing clears the bar, you get no email. A quiet inbox is information too.
You can turn it off
Every match email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can switch the digest off from your account page without losing your matches. They keep updating on the site either way.
What the score actually compares
Not keywords. Your CV is turned into a structured profile and compared against the full text of each posting, so a role that describes the same work in different words still matches. That is also why the score moves when you upload a better CV, which is worth doing every few months.
